Avaya one-X™ Quick Edition is a complete communications system that delivers the features small offices rely on most: |
| |
|
|
| It's all in the phone |
|
Each phone is an Internet Protocol (IP) phone. No central server or “box-on-the-wall” in the “phone closet” of old days is required. All the intelligence is in the phone. The telephones use SIP-based, peer-to-peer to automatically discover each other, establish a network, assign themselves extension numbers, build a corporate directory, and perform system configuration. |
|
| Built-in backup |
|
Eliminating centralized hardware creates a more reliable system. Any of the phones on the Quick Edition network can act as a backup for each other— no single point of failure will cause the entire network to fail. Even if a phone fails, all call-processing functions are preserved. For example, you can still collect voicemail messages to that extension and incoming calls will continue to be forwarded. |
|
| Simple system management |
|
Quick Edition telephones, as well as the PSTN gateway, can be administered via any PC that is connected to the network (locally or remotely) using a web-based administration interface.
To get started, simply plug Avaya one-X Quick Edition phones into your Local Area Network (LAN), connect your phone lines to the Avaya PSTN Gateway, and you are up and running. |
| |
 |
The Ethernet Switch is your LAN. PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) represents your telephone lines. |
| |
| Business Benifits |
| |
| Simplicity - Avaya one-X Quick Edition is simple to set up, configure and use. Adding additional phones is as simple as connecting them to the LAN. This built in simplicity reduces
the need for technical onsite assistance, facilitates rapid installation and reduces costs.
|
| |
Low Total Cost of Ownership - With no centralized equipment to purchase set up or manage, the total cost of ownership of an Avaya one-X Quick Edition solution is lowered. As your needs grow, additional phones can be simply added to the network. |
| |
Business Continuity – SIP based Peer to Peer eliminates single point of telephony failure. Each phone automatically back up each others features including voicemail, so if one telephone fails the others continue to work, providing embedded fail-over and business continuity. |
| |
Investment Protection – Avaya one-X Quick Edition uses the 4600 IP telephones platform. Should your needs change, e.g., enhanced customer service functionality, you can move up to larger Avaya solutions. Simply keep your phones, change the software, and install a gateway if needed. |
